Our services are intended to provide guidance regarding Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetic products. These guidelines offer organisational and practical advice on the management of the human, technical and administrative factors affecting product quality.

Good Manufacturing Practices constitute the practical development of the quality assurance concept through the description of manufacturing activities that are based on sound scientific judgement and risk assessments. The objecting of establishing and adhering to GMP guidelines is to define the activities that enable you to obtain a product that meets defined characteristics.

Our guidelines cover the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. They cover the quality aspects of the product. They do not cover safety aspects for the personnel engaged in manufacturing, nor do they cover aspects of protection of the environment or distribution of finished products. Safety and environmental aspects are inherent responsibilities of the product owner and could be governed by local legislation and regulation.

If the product is to be offered for sale, you should confirm that the chosen recipe/formula is suitable for that purpose. Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service and any/all of its partners cannot be held responsible or liable for any problems whatsoever that occur as a result misuse or neglect of any information provided as part of our services, particularly if your products are subsequently found to be unsuitable for the use that was intended. We are qualified to provide advice according to information provided to us, in conjunction with product testing results obtained, but cannot be held accountable for decreased formulation efficacy due to changes made to the formulation, container, or process after testing has been completed.

In order to sell your cosmetic and toiletry products to the public it is your responsibility ensure you follow all legal legislation and regulations to do so. We do not hold any responsibility if you purchase services from us and intend to sell without the correct documentation in place. We strongly advice that you ensure you are legally compliant before intending to sell your products to the public.

As the ordinary or otherwise use(s) of products is outside the control of Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service, no representation or warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the effect(s) of such use(s), (including damage or injury), or the results obtained. Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service expressly disclaims responsibility as to the ordinary or otherwise use(s). Furthermore, nothing contained herein should be considered as a recommendation by Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service as to the fitness for any use. The liability of Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service is limited to the value of the service and does not include any consequential losses. Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service shall not be liable for any errors or delays in the content, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon. Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service shall not be responsible for any damages resulting from use of or reliance upon this information.

Return and Refund Policy

Errors made by clients when placing their order for services provided by Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service can be rectified if reported within 7 days of paying to use any of our services. It is important to note that once a protocol has been approved by a client, and a study has been started, no changes will be permitted. Payment must be completed in full prior to any Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Services being undertaken.
As a considerable amount of time is taken to prepare protocols and set up stability and or/preservative efficacy studies, a 20% change of mind/ cancellation fee also applies if protocols have been written, but a client/customer no longer wishes for us to complete this product testing.
Any problems reported after 14 days of receipt of your report for services rendered, which are not the fault of Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service, will incur a 20% re-processing fee if further time is required to re-check any particular result or repeat an analysis.
If a refund is required due to an error made by Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service, this must fall within 2 months of the invoice date.
It may be necessary for Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service to occasionally return products to clients by Australia Post, in which case, the freight costs will be included in refund/credit, only if an error is on Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service behalf, otherwise all returns are the responsibility of the client/customer. Please ensure full tracking details (airway bill or tracking number) are provided in order to monitor the speed of the parcels being sent back.
If an error has been made by Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service with regards to invoicing, we will gladly rectify any issues which are brought to our attention.
Products must be packed carefully when being posted Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service. The package must be correctly labelled with our address and your contact information, should the parcel be lost in transit . Formulation Advisory Cosmetic Testing Service holds no responsibility or liability for goods which have been sent to us but not received.
